Newsky: A Cameroonian Success Story in Conference Solutions

Founded in 2005 by Igor Tedom, Newsky started as a distributor for Televic in Cameroon. Today, it has grown into a leading player in conference solutions in its region.

The company has been trusted for major projects such as the National Assembly of Cameroon, BEAC (Banque des États de l’Afrique Centrale), and OAPI (Organisation Africaine de la Propriété Intellectuelle).

Projects have also been carried out beyond the borders of Cameroon, including in Chad and the Republic of Congo. The company has a dedicated technical team and regularly partners with freelancers to meet project demands.\

In response to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Newsky introduced rental services, catering to clients who prefer support for important events without committing to permanent installations. This service has become popular for board meetings and investor meetings, allowing businesses to rely on Newsky’s expertise without the need for full ownership.

The company was selected to provide conference support for the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summit in August 2024.

The OIC is the second-largest international organization after the United Nations, with 57 member states spanning four continents. Newsky’s involvement in such a significant event underscores its position as a trusted partner in the field of conference solutions.
